FAIR Engineer

Are you an experienced FAIRs Engineer or Quality Engineer? Do you have experience with First Article Inspection and interpreting engineering drawings? If so, our client, a leading manufacturer, is recruiting for a FAIR Engineer on a contract basis for their site in Derby.The role will involve supporting quality control throughout the manufacturing process, ensuring customer requirements and business standards are consistently met. FAIR Engineer3 month contract opportunitySalary/Rate dependent on experienceMonday - Thursday 08:00 - 16:45, Friday 08:00 - 12:30 (39 hours)Derby FAIR EngineerJob Description Carry out First Article Inspections and provide First Article Inspection Reports in line with customer and business requirements. Inspect and verify parts throughout the manufacturing process, ensuring quality standards and specifications are met. Support non-conformance procedures, root cause analysis and resolution to drive improvements in manufacturing quality. Work closely with production and quality teams to build quality into the manufacturing process and achieve quality and production targets. Represent the quality function within team meetings and support continuous improvement across the business.
