Job Overview:

Oversee the daily operations of our manufacturing plant, ensuring that production schedules are met, and quality standards are maintained.- Monitor production processes and implement cost-effective strategies.- Maintaining a safe working environment, managing staff, and continuously improving production efficiency.- This position is crucial for the smooth operation and profitability of the plant.

Specific Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

• Oversee daily factory operations and production processes.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with different departments to streamline production.
• Manage factory staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Implement cost-effective production strategies.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of equipment.
• Develop and enforce factory policies and procedures.
• Resolve and issues or conflicts that arise within the factory.
• Maintain accurate production records and reports.
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Implement and monitor continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and health regulations.
• Provide leadership and direction to improve overall factory performance.
• Undertake development of both shift leaders.

Personal Profile:

• Proven experience in a busy manufacturing factory environment, with strong knowledge of daily production, workflow, machinery, materials, and shop-floor priorities.
• Demonstrable experience supervising factory teams to meet production schedules while maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency standards.
• Confident monitoring production processes, resolving issues quickly, reducing downtime, and keeping operations running smoothly.
• Strong understanding of factory health and safety, housekeeping, equipment care, inspections, and compliance with company procedures.
• Experienced in training, motivating, and managing production staff to improve performance, teamwork, and accountability.
• Quality-focused, with experience maintaining accurate records, checking product standards, and supporting continuous improvement across factory operations.
