Factory Production Planner

We are recruiting for a Production Planner for a global engineering group based in Poole, Dorset. The company work with leading international companies in over 50 countries to deliver innovative engineering solutions to address global trends such as clean energy, energy efficiency, healthcare and increasing automation. Job SummaryThe Production Planner will form an integral part of the production team. With a strong, solid background in scheduling; the candidate will take a lead approach in scheduling the shop floor ensuring the correct materials are in the right place at the right time. The role is key to the company fulfilling customer orders on time in full.Responsibilities Working as part of a team responsible for production planning, master production scheduling and forecasting activitiesControl and maintain the fixed period within the Master Schedule in line with materials availability and capacity.Processing of tasks using planning tools e.g. MRP, ERP, Preactor or any other that the company installs to ensure deliveries are met.Creation of Production Works ..... full job details .....
