Factory Operative

A great opportunity has arisen with one of our long-standing engineering clients for a permanent Factory Operative to join their Casting department in the Medway area.Hours: Monday-Thursday 06:00-16:30; Friday 06:00-14:30Previous factory or manufacturing experience is required, but full training will be provided.The RoleYou will support the safe and efficient running of the Casting department, carrying out a range of production duties, including:Operating and loading/unloading robotsCarrying out hand dippingMixing and testing slurryOperating the boilerclaveProcessing components in line with work instructionsCompleting production records and job cardsCarrying out quality checksFollowing health and safety procedures and using PPE correctlyCarrying out manual handling duties safelyAbout YouWe are looking for someone who is:Experienced in a factory or manufacturing environmentReliable, punctual and safety-consciousAble to follow written instructions and proceduresDetail-oriented and committed to qualityA good team player with strong communication skillsComfortable with manual handlingWilling to learn and complete relevant trainingFull training will be provided for the role, making this a great opportunity to develop your skills within an established engineering environment. ..... full job details .....
