Location: Wolverhampton
Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm (Monday to Thursday), 8:00am – 3:30pm (Friday)
Pay Rate: £12.50 per hour

 

Pertemps are currently recruiting on behalf of a Wolverhampton-based engineering business that specialises surface coatings for components used across a wide range of industries. 

We are seeking a reliable Factory Operative to join their production team. This role will suit someone who enjoys hands-on, practical work within a supportive and safety-focused environment.

 

Key Duties:

• Operating lifting equipment to safely move and position components
  
  
• Preparing and coating products to customer specifications
  
  
• Carrying out processes similar to shot blasting to treat metal surfaces
  
  
• Ensuring accurate handling and recording of parts throughout production
  
  
• Working to strict health & safety guidelines and maintaining a tidy work area
  
  
• Supporting colleagues and assisting with general factory duties as required
  
  

 

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in a factory, production, or engineering environment (preferred)
  
  
• Ability to follow processes accurately and pay close attention to detail
  
  
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
  
  
• Good awareness of health and safety in the workplace
