Factory Worker – Formwork and Beam Preparation

Job Description:
We are seeking motivated and hardworking Factory Workers to join our team. The role involves cleaning, maintaining, and preparing formwork and beams to support production operations. Successful candidates will work with a variety of hand and power tools, carry out basic repairs, and ensure all materials are ready for use. Attention to detail, teamwork, and a commitment to safety are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean, inspect, and prepare formwork and beams using hand and power tools (including hammers, grinders, drills, and rivet guns).

• Reboard beams and formwork to ensure they meet operational standards.

• Count, record, and organize stock accurately.

• Perform basic maintenance and repair tasks as required.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

• Adhere to workplace health and safety policies and procedures at all times.

• Assist team members and supervisors with additional tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with tools such as hammers, grinders, drills, and rivet guns is highly desirable.

• Physically fit and capable of performing manual, hands-on work.

• Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high work standards.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Hours of Work: 

• Monday - Thursday 7am - 4pm.
• Friday 7am - 12.15pm.

Rate of Pay:

• £12.21+ per hour.
