Location: West Bromwich
Hours: 7:00am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
Salary: Competitive - Dependent on experience

Ideal Employment is currently recruiting on behalf of one of our established and fast growing manufacturing clients based in West Bromwich. This reputable company is now seeking an experienced Factory Handyman/Engineer to join their team and keep their site operating at its best.

Key Responsibilities:

• Seal gaps and cracks in brickwork with silicone to prevent pest access

• Replace mesh vents to prevent pest access

• Change lightbulbs and door locks

• Carry out fabrication repairs and general maintenance

• Identify and address minor faults before they develop into larger issues

• Maintain a safe and tidy working environment

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar maintenance or handyman role (factory or industrial setting preferred)

• Experience in TIG Welding (preferred)

• Practical skills in basic repairs and fabrication work

• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
