Job Overview
Our client is looking for A Facility Assistant based in Canary Wharf and working at Kings Cross 1/2 days a week. This is a 3 month contract.
They would like an enthusiastic and dynamic individual with previous experience of working in a similar role. You will be working front of house and providing support for their Basingstoke office. You will also be supporting the Facilities Manager and the other Facilities Assistants.
Duties
- Carrying out general admin support duties as and when required.
- Responsible for stock control in various areas including stationery.
- Management of the access control system, and issue of passes.
- Proactively reporting any maintenance issues around the building and following through to resolution.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- IT literate with good working knowledge of MIcrosoft.
- Must be confident in dealing with people face to face, at all levels.
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- The ability to work independently and manage varying workloads.
Desirable:
- ABIFM
- NVQ, Business Admin or similar
- Good understanding and knowledge of facilities management
- First Aid/Fire Marshall Qualification
Hours
The hours will alternate between 08:00hrs- 16:00hrs and 09:00hrs- 17:00hrs.
