Temporary roleSalary: £17 - £18 per hourHours: Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm About the Role We are seeking a proactive and reliable Facilities Technician to join our Education Provision team. This is a varied and hands-on role responsible for ensuring buildings, grounds, equipment, and facilities are maintained to a high standard, creating a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Working closely with site leaders and operational teams, you will oversee day-to-day maintenance activities, coordinate contractors, support health and safety compliance, and contribute to ongoing improvement projects across the provision. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with practical maintenance experience, strong organisational skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality facilities services within an educational setting. Key Responsibilities:Facilities Maintenance Carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks across buildings and grounds. Lead on minor repairs, refurbishment projects, and site improvement works. Monitor the condition of facilities and identify maintenance requirements. Maintain a rolling programme of decoration, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
