Are you an experienced Facilities Supervisor who is available for an immediate start? If so, our client is looking to hire a Facilities Supervisor on a temporary basis to support with the day to day running of the facilities department and the facilities operatives at their South Croydon site. Salary: 19.00 - 21.00 per hour Hours: 37 hours/week - shift times across Monday-Fridays(very occasional Saturday) Start: Immediate/ongoing Responsibilities will include: Lead and supervise the maintenance team, ensuring high standards in all building maintenance tasks. Oversee repairs and maintenance, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely completion. Conduct risk assessments and enforce health and safety protocols. Act as the main contact for emergency maintenance issues and manage out-of-hours callouts. Use SharePoint to track, prioritise, and manage Facilities requests. Report and address defects, vandalism, and maintenance concerns with the Facilities Manager. Supervise on-site contractors, ensuring compliance with safety and performance standards. Maintain and oversee key systems, including heating, ventilation, BMS, fire panels, and security alarms. Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of all internal and external areas. Respond quickly to urgent maintenance issues and conduct routine inspections. Ensure adherence to Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules and equipment upkeep.
