Location: ST4 Stoke on Trent

Working schedule: 7:30am - 4:30pm Monday to Thursday and 7:30am - 1:30pm Friday

Rate of pay: -13.06ph

Contract type: Temporary

Adecco are looking for a reliable and adaptable Facilities Operative with an FLT certificate to help keep our client''s factory safe, clean and well-maintained.

This is a temporary position for an expected 4 weeks initially.

Key Responsibilities:

• Site housekeeping, cleaning and general maintenance
• Emptying waste bins and managing recycling
• Carrying out site inspections and reporting maintenance issues
• Basic repairs, painting and DIY tasks
• Grounds maintenance of internal and external areas
• Maintaining welfare areas, facilities and replenishments of supplies on site where needed, supporting between the contract cleaning activites.
• Supporting contractors, engineering and site improvement projects - e.g the safe movement, relocation or installation of equipment, furniture and other items.
• Ensuring health & safety standards are followed at all times
• Use of FLT where needed

Ideal Candidate:

• Practical, hands-on approach
• Experience in facilities, maintenance or industrial environments
• Able to carry out basic repairs and maintenance tasks
• Good awareness of health & safety
• Reliable and proactive with a strong work ethic

This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys keeping facilities running smoothly and takes pride in maintaining high site standards.
