Facilities Officer - Surrey

Morgan Hunt is recruiting for Facilities Officer to work with a Charity on a permanent basis. The details of the job are below: Facilities Officer Hours: 37.5 hours 08:30am to 16:30pm Mon to Fri Salary from: £39,800k to 43k per year Location: Surrey. Suitable candidates must have full clean driving licence and access to vehicle will cover two homes in Surrey. Also must be able to carry minor repairs, maintenance works and caretaking duties where appropriate. Purpose of role: To support the Property and Estates Manager (PEM) in the day-to-day operation and management of its houses and the wider houses Investment Property Portfolio ensuring that the houses and facilities are safe, compliant and well maintained. Job Role Support residents to live independently by enabling them to make full use of charities amenities, including operating the fire detection systems and the Entry Phone System Carry out routine inspections of the homes including the plant room, equipment and external grounds, identifying maintenance requirements, defects and health and safety risks Carry out minor repairs, maintenance works and caretaking duties where appropriate. Coordinate access arrangements and support the PEM by engaging and monitoring third-party contractors for works when necessary Oversee responsive repairs from initial reporting through to completion using the Maintenance Tracker, ensuring works are prioritised appropriately and actions recorded accurately.
