This temporary assignment has arisen to provide essential cover for a forecasted long-term absence within the team. The initial contract will be for 6 weeks, with the potential for extension depending on service requirements.As a Facilities Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation, safety, security and compliance of Dorset Council''s operational buildings. Working within a busy Facilities Management team, you will support a range of building services including health and safety checks, compliance testing, minor maintenance, office moves, mail distribution and access control management.Key Responsibilities Provide facilities management support across Dorset Council operational buildings. Assist with the security and safety of council premises, including opening and locking buildings as part of a rota. Respond to out-of-hours calls and emergencies when required.
