Facilities Officer

We are currently looking for a Facilities Officer. You will be working in Sheffield (S1) Monday - Friday 08:00am - 16:00pm Temp Contract - Ongoing Pay rate - 17.18ph paye Job Purpose As a Facilities Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring council buildings are maintained to a high standard, supporting building users, managing service delivery, and coordinating facilities-related activities that contribute to excellent customer experiences. Main Duties Monitoring and maintaining high standards of building cleanliness, safety, and presentation. Supporting the management of contracted services, including cleaning, security, waste management, and grounds maintenance. Undertaking building inspections and reporting defects or maintenance issues. Assisting with health and safety compliance, including audits, risk assessments, and statutory checks. Responding to customer enquiries and resolving facilities-related issues. Supporting office moves, events, and changes to building layouts.
