A leading independent school in South West London is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation, maintenance, compliance, and development of an educational estate. The Opportunity You will play a key role in ensuring school facilities remain safe, compliant, and fit for purpose. This is a diverse role combining operational facilities management, health and safety compliance, contractor management, and hands-on maintenance support. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage estates maintenance activities across multiple sites Ensure full compliance with statutory regulations including fire safety, asbestos, legionella, COSHH, and risk assessments Manage planned and reactive maintenance programmes Oversee contractors and supplier performance, ensuring value for money and service excellence Monitor facilities helpdesk requests and coordinate resolution of maintenance issues Support health and safety inspections, audits, and reporting Manage cleaning, security, waste, grounds, and other property-related services Assist with site preparations for school events and activities Maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for staff, pupils, and visitors About You We are looking for a proactive facilities professional who ..... full job details .....
