Facilities Manager (Soft) 35 hours per week | 3-month contract | £280 per day | Edinburgh | Hybrid - 3 days onsite | Inside IR35Basic Disclosure clearance requiredHarvey Nash''s public sector client is looking for an experienced facilities manager for an interim 3-month period.Key ResponsibilitiesManage a Soft FM services contract (NEC4 Term Service Contract)Manage and monitor Soft FM services contracts, ensuring performance and complianceOversee contractor delivery across cleaning, waste, and pest control servicesSupport delivery of planned and reactive maintenance activitiesConduct audits, inspections, and compliance checksCoordinate contractors across a live, operational environmentUse CAFM systems to track performance, assets, and service deliveryCollaborate with internal teams to plan and schedule worksWorking closely with internal stakeholders, you will ensure services are delivered efficiently, safely, and in line with performance standards, while maintaining minimal disruption to operations.RequirementsRelevant qualification in Facilities Management or equivalent experienceProfessional membership (eg IWFM) or working towardsStrong experience in Soft FM contract management, specifically NEC4Knowledge of planned and reactive maintenance deliveryFamiliarity with BICS standards, Handamp;S legislation, and waste regulationsExperience managing contractors in complex environmentsStrong organisational, stakeholder management, and communication skillsConfident using CAFM ..... full job details .....
