Facilities Manager Milton Park, Oxford £20.52 - £25.65 per hour (£40k-50k annual equivalent) Temporary Contract Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (8:00am-4:30pm or 9:00am-5:30pm) About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Facilities Manager to join an innovative and rapidly growing organisation based in Milton Park, Oxford. This temporary position will involve overseeing the day-to-day management, maintenance, compliance and safety of a large multi-building site, ensuring facilities operate efficiently with minimal disruption to business operations. This is a varied, hands-on role combining practical maintenance, contractor management, project work, health and safety compliance, budget management and team leadership. Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the site across multiple buildings. Deliver and oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes. Manage contractors, supplier relationships, permits to work, RAMS and compliance documentation. Ensure the site remains compliant with all relevant Health and Safety and statutory regulations. Lead and support the Facilities Team, cleaning teams and external contractors. Manage HVAC, mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems. Oversee inventory, assets, site security and controlled access procedures. Support facilities projects, office moves, space planning and future site developments.
