Oxford Outcomes .We are seeking a responsible, hands-on Facilities Manager to join our team at Groveside School, Reading. As Facilities Manager, you will help support our pupils and young people by ensuring our sites are well maintained and equipped to meet their needs. This is a great opportunity to work as part of a team committed to helping pupils with SEMH and associated needs. You will take pride in maintaining our school, from day-to-day repairs to completing risk assessments, carrying out security procedures, checking equipment and contributing to school development projects. You will ensure everything is in place for smooth and safe operations, with consistency in mind for our pupils.About UsGroveside School is a brand-new school in Reading, Berkshire, proposed to cater for 60 pupils. Maintain and manage school sites to ensure safety, accessibility and suitability for pupils with SEMH and related needs.Carry out day-to-day repairs, site checks, and regular risk assessments.Oversee security procedures and ensure equipment and facilities are functional and compliant.Contribute to school development projects and maintain a safe, caring environment.Provide hands-on maintenance, health and safety input, and a proactive approach to facilities management.Collaborate with staff to support pupils and the daily operations of the school.Requirements and Qualities

Previous experience in a similar facilities role is welcome but not essential; full training will be provided.Strong DIY, maintenance, health and safety skills, with a practical, can-do attitude.Quality-focused, able to work at pace, and motivated to contribute to a safe, positive school environment.Location, Hours and Benefits
