We are supporting a complex manufacturing operation undergoing a Facilities Management (FM) supplier transition. This is an opportunity for an experienced FM Transition Manager to take a client?side leadership role, overseeing the mobilisation and demobilisation of FM providers while ensuring business continuity and contractual compliance.
This role offers the chance to work within an operationally critical environment, collaborating with internal stakeholders and major FM suppliers to deliver a controlled, transparent, and disruption?free transition.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the client?side Transition Manager for the FM supplier change
- Lead and oversee all transition, mobilisation, and execution activities
- Ensure delivery aligns fully with contractual terms and agreed governance
- Hold incumbent and incoming suppliers accountable for transition delivery
- Identify, manage, and mitigate risks, issues, and gaps throughout the transition lifecycle
- Establish and manage transition governance, reporting, and escalation processes
- Act as the primary interface between internal stakeholders and FM service providers
- Ensure continuity of critical manufacturing operations, minimising disruption to production
Experience & Skills Required
- Proven experience in an FM Transition Manager role within complex environments
- Strong track record delivering FM supplier transitions (mobilisation and demobilisation)
- Experience working in manufacturing or industrial settings
- Exposure to major FM providers (e.g. CBRE, Equans, or similar)
- Working knowledge of TUPE regulations within FM transitions
- Ability to challenge suppliers and stakeholders constructively
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and influencing skills
- High attention to detail with a focus on risk control and delivery assurance
Working Pattern
- 3-4 days per week on?site in Stafford
- Flexibility required during key transition milestones
