Facilities Manager

Harris Hill is pleased to be recruiting a Facilities Manager for The Cotswolds Dogs and Cats Home (CDCH), a well-established animal welfare charity supporting over 1,000 animals each year.Location: Tetbury (with travel to other sites)Hours: 24 hours per weekSalary: Up to £40,000 per annum (FTE, pro rata)This newly created role will ensure CDCH s sites operate safely, efficiently, and in full compliance. Working closely with the Chief Operating Officer, leadership team, and trustees, the Facilities Manager will oversee buildings and facilities management, health and safety, technical infrastructure, and small improvement projects across multiple locations.Key responsibilities include:Managing maintenance and contractual obligations for all sitesProcuring and overseeing external suppliers and contractorsEnsuring health, safety, and environmental complianceManaging facilities budgets and identifying efficienciesDelivering small refurbishment and improvement projectsOverseeing third-party systems including IT and communicationsAbout you:You will have experience in facilities management and health and safety, strong organisational and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently while building effective relationships. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (with business insurance) are essential, as the role involves working across multiple locations.
