Facilities Maintenance Technician

Facilities Maintenance Technician We are currently recruiting for a Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the safe and efficient running of a leading manufacturing company based in Portsmouth. This is a hands-on role covering both planned and reactive maintenance. Main Duties General building and facilities maintenance. Minor plumbing, carpentry, decorating and basic electrical work. Respond to maintenance requests and resolve issues. Carry out routine inspections and identify faults or hazards. Support contractors and site works. Maintain clean, safe and functional facilities. Record maintenance activity using the CMMS system. Follow all Health and Safety, COSHH and environmental procedures. Ideal Skills and Experience Previous experience in facilities or building maintenance or strong hands on skills with a relatable background. Practical skills across several maintenance disciplines. Good understanding of Health and Safety. Practical, proactive and able to work independently. Good problem-solving and communication skills. CMMS experience and relevant trade qualifications are advantageous.
