Location: Kettering, Northamptonshire
Salary: £25,000 per annum + on-call allowance (1 week in every 3)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

We are currently recruiting for a Facilities / Maintenance Operative to join a well-established organisation in Kettering. This is a full-time position supporting the safe, efficient, and effective operation of a busy multi-site environment.
Working on a rotating shift pattern:

• Week 1: Monday to Friday, 5:30am to 1:30pm
• Week 2: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm
• Week 3: Monday to Friday, 11:00am to 7:00pm

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out a wide range of caretaking and facilities duties, including basic DIY, plumbing, painting and decorating.
• Operate a forklift truck (training may be provided where required).
• Complete maintenance and inspection logs.
• Open and close the site, ensuring security procedures are followed.
• Carry out vehicle safety and maintenance checks.
• Respond to intruder and fire alarm call-outs as part of the key holder rota.
• Perform routine Health & Safety inspections.
• Assist with moving equipment and materials, including some heavy lifting.
• Provide hospitality and event support when required.

• Hold a full UK driving licence.
• Be willing to undertake first aid training.
• Possess good problem-solving skills.
