Facilities Maintenance Labourer

Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Labourer (Outdoor Grounds) Location: Sittingbourne, Kent Hours: Monday to Friday, full-time About the Role We are looking for reliable and motivated Facilities Maintenance Labourers to join our team. You ll work across approximately 9.5 acres of outdoor grounds, supporting the upkeep and maintenance of the site and helping to build a career path toward a supervisory position. The role includes working with machinery and equipment, dealing with external environment tasks, and operating in all weather conditions. Key Responsibilities as a Facilities Maintenance Labourer: Drainage and plumbing assistance (clearing gullies, verifying drainage flows) Vacuum tankering, jet-washing, gulley-sucking operations Road sweeping and litter picking throughout the site, including access roads and service areas Industrial and confined space cleaning work (as required) no ticket required Emergency clean-ups and site housekeeping (clearance after weather events, spillages, debris removal) Maintaining the moat and water-edge areas, ensuring cleanliness and safe condition Handling recycling materials: segregation, transport, stacking as needed Helping to build toward supervising outside grounds labourers: supporting the team, taking instruction, beginning to coordinate daily tasks Requirements as a Facilities Maintenance Labourer: Valid UK driver s licence (essential) Experience in maintenance or a related field (grounds, outdoor site ..... full job details .....
