Facilities Maintenance Engineer
Mechanical Site / Facilties Engineer. To provide high quality and on time services for the production department that requires engineering specific knowledge and skills. Ensure that all equipment on the Preston site is maintained to the highest standards relating to safety, efficiency and performance for use by the operations department. To ensure all equipment is in a safe, compliant and serviceable condition to maintain and enhance performance of all machinery within the corrugating and facilities services. Reduce engineering downtime, respond rapidly to machine failures and breakdowns. Undertake projects and assist with all on-site installations. To always keep open and clear lines of communication with management and fellow colleagues. To undertake, develop and improve planned maintenance schedules. To prioritise work within the engineering department and deploy resources accordingly. To identify training needs or weak spots within the department. NVQ3 / ONC / HNC qualified 5 years mechanical maintenance engineering experience Plumbing Industrial Steam Boilers Hydraulics Pneumatics Compressors Water chillers Key Performance Indicators Ensure site is compliant to regulations.
