Facilities Maintenance Engineer Aerospace and Defence Consett Day Shift Permanent Opportunity Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer looking for a hands-on role where your skills can have a real impact? We''re looking for a proactive, multi-skilled Facilities Maintenance Engineer to join our engineering and facilities team at our Consett site, supporting operations within the aerospace and defence sector. This is a varied role where you''ll take ownership of site facilities, plant and critical services, keeping everything safe, reliable, compliant and operational. What you''ll be doing Carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance. Fault-finding across electrical, mechanical and building-services systems. Maintaining site infrastructure including power, lighting, HVAC, water and drainage. Supporting critical site services and responding to breakdowns. Working with contractors and specialist service providers. Supporting statutory inspections, compliance and permit-to-work activities. Assisting with new installations, modifications and commissioning. Identifying opportunities to improve reliability, energy efficiency and maintenance processes. What we''re looking for You''ll ideally have: Previous experience in facilities, industrial, manufacturing or engineering maintenance. Strong electrical and/or mechanical maintenance experience.
