Facilities Maintenance

Excellent opportunity to take control of overall responsibility due to client not wanting to outsource and bring their maintenance in-house. Job Purpose To maintain and repair site facilities, building services and production equipment, ensuring safe, reliable and efficient operation while minimising downtime and supporting production requirements. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery and site facilities. Diagnose faults and complete mechanical and electrical repairs where qualified. Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimise production downtime. Maintain buildings, utilities, lighting, plumbing, doors and general site infrastructure. Identify recurring faults and recommend improvements to equipment reliability and performance. Coordinate external contractors for specialist repairs and servicing where required. Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure spare parts are available. Follow health and safety procedures, including safe isolation of equipment. Support equipment installations, upgrades and continuous improvement projects. Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment. Skills and Experience Experience in maintenance engineering within a manufacturing or production environment. Good mechanical and fault-finding skills, with electrical experience where applicable. Experience with preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs.
