The Facilities Lead will oversee the day-to-day management of facilities within an industrial and manufacturing setting across two East Midlands sites, ensuring operations run smoothly and efficiently. This role is key to maintaining a safe, functional and well-maintained environment for the business

Client Details

Our client are a well known waste, industrial and manufacturing organisation operating out of the East Midlands.

Description

  • Lead day-to-day facilities standards across multiple operational sites.
  • Coordinate planned and reactive facilities maintenance activities.
  • Manage contractor attendance, permits, RAMS and inductions.
  • Oversee facilities defects from identification through to completion.
  • Support compliance activities, fire safety actions and audit readiness.
  • Monitor supplier performance, service quality and cost control.
  • Drive improvements in housekeeping, site presentation and workplace standards.
  • Build strong working relationships with operational teams and external service providers.

Profile

A successful Facilities Lead should have:

  • Experience in facilities management.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to coordinate and manage external contractors.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external providers.
