Facilities fabric Technician

Location: Southampton About the Role: We''re seeking an experienced Fabric Technician to join our team in Southampton. In this role, you''ll deliver planned and reactive building fabric maintenance across a professional commercial environment, completing a varied range of repairs and minor works to keep the site safe, presentable and fully operational. Key Responsibilities: Complete minor carpentry, basic plumbing, patch repairs, making good and general building repairsRepair and maintain doors, locks, handles, hinges, fixtures, fittings and furnitureReplace ceiling tiles, floor coverings, sealants and other building fabric items as requiredCarry out minor painting, decorating and touch-up works where neededComplete routine inspections, identify defects and take appropriate corrective actionSupport small works, office moves and site improvement tasks when requiredRespond to maintenance requests and complete jobs within agreed timescalesLiaise with client representatives and site teams to provide a professional, tidy and customer-focused serviceUse the PDA system to update jobs, record completed works and maintain clear communicationEnsure all work is completed safely and in line with site procedures, risk assessments and health and safety requirementsWhat We''re Looking For: A practical multi-skilled background with ..... full job details .....
