Stafford (ST16 - fully onsite role)

6 month contract

37 hours a week worked over 4 days! Mon - Thurs 6:45 am to 4:30 pm. Potential for overtime

Up to £21.62 PAYE hourly rate plus holiday and pension contribution OR Umbrella hourly rates up to £29.34 (depending on experience)

We’re looking for a Facilities Engineer for a global supplier of world class engines in Stafford. The team are responsible for driving continuous improvement, construction and infrastructure projects across the facility. Facilities Engineer - Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver facility building projects to deadlines, budget & quality + report key milestones to stakeholders
  • Support and contribute to safety targets, revenue costs, quality, performance
  • Develop clear project scopes, schedules, and cost estimates aligned with business and operational requirements
  • Ensure project documentation is complete (scope, drawings, permits, RAMS)
  • Support procurement activities, including contractor selection and technical evaluations
  • Coordinate contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely execution
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Lead final inspections, snag lists, commissioning, and handover to operations

Facilities Engineer - Key skills & experience required

  • Previous facilities experience within engineering/manufacturing or civils/construction – managing improvement projects and facility upgrades into a facility
  • Experience leading projects / project management
  • Understanding and knowledge of risk & safety and compliance requirements
  • Experience of managing contractors and/or suppliers
  • Desirable : IOSH Managing Safety certification, IPAF MEWP For Managers, FM Global Hot Works
