      <description>Location: Leicester | Salary: Negotiable | Type: Permanent | We are looking for a Facilities Engineer to join our team based on site in Leicester. The Facilities Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving electrical / mechanical plant and equipment. You will play a key role in maintaining operational efficiency, reducing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.  Key Responsibilities  	 Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of mechanical / electrical equipment to SFG20 standards. These will include HVAC systems, UPS Systems, RCD testing, PAT, Lighting, LEV’s and fume cupboards, Boilers and Air Compressors 	 Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, implementing effective solutions to minimise downtime. 	 Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and safety. 	 Keep detailed records of maintenance activities using a CMMS.  	 Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and machinery. 	 Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment logs, and inventory management for critical spares.
