Facilities Engineer (Temporary Contract)

Location: Crewe

Contract Length: 12 Months

Working Pattern: Full Time, 35 hours per week Monday - Friday, 4 days onsite per week.

Adecco working in partnership, a leading organisation in the luxury automotive sector, is seeking a talented Facilities Engineer to join their dynamic Manufacturing Engineering (Production Planning) team. This exciting opportunity allows you to play a crucial role in sourcing and implementing production equipment and facilities for vehicle final assembly. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement production and final assembly facilities, equipment, and technologies, ensuring alignment with required timing and approved investment levels.
• Utilise Practical Problem Solving and Control techniques to proactively deliver solutions, mitigate risks, and resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with all Legal Statutes, including the Health and Safety at Work Act and other relevant regulations.
• Manage project budgets effectively, delivering all projects within agreed financial targets while tracking potential risks.
• Generate deliverable milestones and monitor detailed project plans to ensure smooth execution.

About the Person:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing engineering, particularly in vehicle assembly processes. Key qualifications include:

• Proven experience with Final Assembly Production Facilities, including Automation Systems, Assembly Lines, Conveyors, Robots, and more.
• A solid understanding of Health and Safety legislation relevant to the industry.
• Excellent cross-functional communication skills to engage stakeholders effectively.
• Strong Project Management and Planning skills, with proficiency in software such as MS Project for tracking and reporting.
• A positive attitude towards change, ensuring Quality, Cost, and Delivery are maintained.
• Demonstrable problem-solving experience using Practical Problem Solving techniques.
