Facilities Driver

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Facilities Driver/Operative to join Veolia on an ongoing temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect waste and recyclable materials from designated areas across the site.
• Drive a company van to transport waste safely to the central waste compound.
• Segregate, package and label waste in accordance with site procedures.
• Assist with the safe handling and removal of hazardous waste materials.
• Complete daily vehicle and equipment inspections and report any defects.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping within the waste compound and storage areas.
• Support chemical deliveries and waste collections where required.
• Ensure all waste documentation and duty of care paperwork is completed accurately.

Essential Requirements

• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Previous experience working within a facilities, waste management, environmental services or industrial environment.
