      <description>Location: Ilford | Salary: 37000.00-37000.00 Annual | Type: Permanent | Labour Controller  Barkingside, Essex  Office-Based Monday to Friday  £37,000 + Standby/Call-Out Allowance (TBC) The Opportunity We are seeking an organised and proactive Labour Controller to join a busy facilities maintenance team in Barkingside. This role plays a key part in coordinating planned and reactive maintenance works, ensuring engineers and subcontractors are effectively scheduled while delivering excellent customer service. You will be the first point of contact for clients, managing maintenance requests, allocating resources, monitoring job progress, and ensuring service levels are met. This role is ideal for someone with experience in Facilities Management, Maintenance Coordination, Scheduling, or Helpdesk Operations. Key Responsibilities  Act as the first point of contact for client enquiries and maintenance requests. Log and manage reactive maintenance tasks. Schedule engineers for planned and reactive works.
