Temporary Maintenance and Cleaning OperativePay Rate: 13.45 per hourContract: Temporary (Minimum 6 Weeks)Hours: Up to 37.5 hours per weekWe are seeking a reliable and flexible Temporary Maintenance and Cleaning Operative to provide cover for holidays, sickness, and other staffing requirements.This is a hands-on role involving a variety of outdoor cleaning and general maintenance duties to ensure public areas are kept clean, safe, and well-presented.Key Duties:General maintenance and upkeep of outdoor areasOutdoor cleaning and litter removalSetting out and managing waste binsMaintaining cleanliness across designated sitesResponding to cleaning requirements as they ariseCleaning and removal of bodily fluids, including vomit, in line with health and safety proceduresWorking Hours:Up to 37.5 hours per weekTypical shifts are: 11-hour shifts (including a 1-hour unpaid break)8-hour shifts (including a 30-minute unpaid break)Requirements:Reliable, punctual, and flexibleComfortable working outdoors in all weather conditionsAble to carry out physically demanding dutiesPrevious cleaning or maintenance experience is desirable but not essentialAwareness of health and safety practices is advantageousThis temporary position is expected to last for a minimum of 6 weeks, with the possibility of an extension for the right candidateAdecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
