This Facilities Coordinator role in Maidenhead supports a facilities management company on a full-time temporary contract, initially three weeks with possible extension, paying £14 per hour, working 10am to 6pm. We are recruiting on behalf of an established Facilities Management company for a Facilities Coordinator
This is a hands on, customer focused position responsible for supporting the smooth day to day delivery of facilities services. You will work closely with the client, contractors, service providers and internal teams to ensure the site is maintained to a high standard and all facilities requirements are dealt with efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate on-site contractors, suppliers and facilities services.
- Carry out weekly building, furniture and plant audits.
- Provide professional, face to face customer service and on-site facilities support.
- Ensure consistently high standards of cleaning, building maintenance and general site presentation, both internally and externally.
- Identify, report, monitor and ensure the timely resolution of faults, issues and concerns.
- Act as the first point of contact for all on-site facilities requirements.
- Assist with client ad hoc requests and facilities-related duties as required.
- Coordinate event set-ups and ensure all facilities requirements are delivered effectively.
- Use CAFM systems to log, track and manage maintenance requests, jobs and other facilities activities.
- Liaise with contractors and service providers to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required standard.
- Carry out basic handyperson duties where required.
- Complete any other reasonable duties as assigned by the line manager.
- Take reasonable care of your own health and safety and that of others, ensuring compliance with all relevant Health & Safety procedures.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Demonstrable experience working within a similar facilities, property, building services or site-based role.
- A good understanding of Health & Safety practices and procedures.
- A strong customer-service focus and professional approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Experience using CAFM systems.
- Basic practical/handyman skills.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and respond effectively to issues in a busy working environment.
- Experience working with contractors and external service providers.
- IOSH or an equivalent Health & Safety qualification.
- A relevant trade qualification, such as Electrical, Plumbing, Engineering or similar.
- Previous experience working as a Facilities Assistant, Facilities Coordinator, Handyperson, Caretaker, Groundskeeper or in a similar position.
