Day-to-day communication with client representatives on siteManagement of site team, ensuring all legal, corporate and duty-of-care responsibilities are met, including Safety, Health and Welfare of staffLead a team of 30+ Veolia staff delivering the services on-siteEnsure that Veolia staff are trained to carry out their roles and to put in place appropriate development plans using the Veolia performance development processTechnical and commercial evaluation of required sub-contracted servicesWeekly and/or monthly reports of all activities on siteCost control and commercial contract managementFamiliarisation with relevant statutory acts pertaining to staff safety and welfareFamiliarisation with relevant statutory acts pertaining to equipment function and statusAttendance at relevant governance and technical meetings with clientEnsure that all Veolia company procedures are adhered to and that quality standards are maintained at all timesEstablish and develop opportunities to diversify or increase contractual services to the clientWhat we’re looking for

Engineering degree or equivalent, preferably in mechanical/building services, with four to five years post graduate experience OR Trade qualification (National Craft Cert, City and Guilds or Equivalent), preferably mechanical/building services, with ten years plus post apprenticeship experience, with supervisory/line management experienceGood knowledge of maintenance and troubleshooting experience across a range of equipment and servicesKnowledge of operating within a regulated environmentExcellent computer literacy to be able to present and show data to the clientThe ability to manage and motivate a successful teamExperience and knowledge of waste disposalWhat’s next
