Job Title: Facilities Operative / Post-Room Operative
CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Facilities Operative / Post Room Operative to join the team located in Bristol
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing the operational delivery of all Post Room services.
Key Tasks
- Co-ordinate with FM Operations and Critical Service teams to deliver service level agreements
- Support/Monitor 3rd party supplier activities when required and report any corrective works arising
- Comply with HSE requirements as outlined within the SLA and as instructed by the company policy
- Report all accidents, occupational illnesses and emergencies in relevant books/documentation
- Ensure all contractors, under sphere of control, operate within appropriate SHE processes and client HSE standards
- Carry out Post Room activities including receipt, sorting and distributing incoming and outgoing post to and from mail collection points, keeping post tray names up to date, ensuring areas are tidy and that uncollected post is distributed
- Monitor and maintain stationery levels
- Deliver goods received to correct destination/person
- Assist with site waste and recycling arrangements
- Cover reception services when required
- Co-ordinate with Security and report any faults on access entry system where necessary
- Take ownership and understand customer requirements and be able to demonstrate the ability to close out concerns and ensure customer is kept appraised at all times
- Act as deputy in the absence of other team members
- Develop and maintain excellent client relationships, ensuring that they receive the highest standards of service delivery in relation to their operational needs
- Always developing relationship with the client and their teams to ensure full understanding of the clients needs
- Ensuring business policies and processes are effectively communicated and implemented within the contract
- Ensure the provision of healthy and safe working conditions and that both clients and Company health and safety policy and process is effectively implemented across both CBRE and sub-contractor''s activities. Ensure appropriate control systems to ensure statutory, policy and contractual commitments are met.

Person Specification
- Strong PC skills, MS Office
- Self-motivated and resourceful
- Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independent
- Good administrative skills
- Well organised and good prioritisation and planning skills
- Key focus for this role is to ensure that all FM services are delivered in a confident and efficient manner
- Minimum of 2 years'' experience in a similar role
- Service orientated attitude combined with innovative thinking
- Knowledge and awareness of the facilities management industry
- Practical experience in working with supply partners to deliver a seamless, integrated service
- Customer services experience and the ability to communicate at all levels
