We are currently recruiting a Facilities Assistant to join the site team at a nursery and primary school in Winson Green, Birmingham. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring the school site is safe, secure, clean and well maintained for pupils, staff and visitors. Key Responsibilities Opening and locking up the school premises Carrying out security and site checks Supporting with general maintenance and minor repairs Completing basic DIY and maintenance tasks Moving furniture and assisting with event and classroom set-ups Receiving and handling deliveries Ensuring the school grounds and buildings are clean, safe and well maintained Supporting health and safety checks and procedures Reporting any maintenance, security or health and safety issues Assisting the wider site team with general facilities duties About You We are looking for someone who is: Experienced as a Caretaker, Facilities Assistant, Site Assistant, Maintenance Operative, Handyperson or similar Practical, hands-on and confident carrying out basic maintenance and DIY Reliable, organised and able to work independently Flexible with early starts and ..... full job details .....
