 Pertemps are recruiting a hands-on Facilities Assistant for a Newport-based client. This is a practical, varied role ideal for someone who enjoys maintenance work, keeping things running smoothly and being part of a supportive team.

 
The role includes:

• Cleaning, checking and maintaining company vehicles
  
  
• Assisting with delivery and collection of equipment (manual handling)
  
  
• Basic repairs, painting and general maintenance
  
  
• Supporting fire alarm tests, meter readings and room set-ups
  
  
• External duties including waste disposal and gritting
  
  

• Facilities / maintenance or handyperson experience
  
  
• A full UK driving licence
  
  
• Good awareness of Health & Safety
  
  
• A practical, reliable and can-do approach
  
  

• Part-time hours with a fixed working pattern
  
  
• Varied role – no two days the same
