Facilities Assistant / Caretaker Oxford Town Hall, Oxford £13.12 per hour 2-Month Temporary Contract Full Time Are you a reliable and proactive individual looking for a short-term opportunity in facilities and caretaking? We are seeking a Facilities Assistant / Caretaker to support the effective operation of community facilities and events at Oxford Town Hall. The Role As part of the Facilities team, you will play a key role in ensuring Council buildings are clean, safe, secure, and ready for visitors, staff, and community events. Key Responsibilities Cleaning offices, kitchens, toilets, stairwells, function rooms, and communal areas Preparing rooms and equipment for meetings, functions, and events Setting up and dismantling furniture and equipment Carrying out caretaking duties, including waste disposal Locking and unlocking buildings and operating alarm systems Assisting with minor maintenance repairs and facilities requests Supporting the upkeep of pool cars and bicycles Delivering excellent customer service to building users and visitors About You Previous experience in cleaning, caretaking, facilities, maintenance, or a similar role Practical, hands-on approach with a strong work ethic Good communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexible and reliable with a positive attitude Basic maintenance skills would be advantageous Have the expertise and experience APPLY NOW ..... full job details .....
