Facilities AssistantCrewkerne £25,527 per annum Full-time PermanentHours: Mon-Thu 7:00-4:45 Fri 7:00-11:30, 37.5 hours per weekWe''re seeking a practical and proactive Facilities Assistant to support our Clients team in Crewkerne.This hands-on role focuses on keeping the site safe, clean and efficient through reactive and preventative maintenance, supporting engineers, and maintaining high 5S and health and safety standards.The RoleYou will:Carry out general site upkeep and basic building repairsManage oils, coolants, swarf and recyclingSupport TPM checks on emergency equipmentAssist engineers with breakdowns and installationsHandle hazardous materials safelyOperate mobile equipment such as FLTs (training provided if required)Liaise with contractors, inductions and permits to workRecord tasks digitally and identify sustainability improvementsAbout YouYou''ll ideally have experience in a manufacturing environment and a strong awareness of health and safety and risk assessments. You''ll be organised, able to prioritise workloads, communicate effectively, and be physically capable of manual tasks. A positive, flexible attitude is essential.
