We''re looking for a proactive, customer-focused Facilities Assistant to support the day-to-day operation of a busy workplace in Stockport. This is a varied, hands-on role where you''ll work closely with the Facilities Management team to ensure a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for colleagues, visitors, and stakeholders.



What You''ll Be Doing

As a Facilities Assistant, you''ll play a key role in supporting workplace services and facilities operations, including:

• Providing administrative support to the Facilities Management team
• Maintaining property and building records and documentation
• Assisting with monthly reporting and compliance activities
• Managing incoming and outgoing mail and courier requests
• Supporting meeting room and audio-visual set-ups
• Conducting regular workplace inspections and floor walks
• Assisting with stock control and procurement activities
• Carrying out meter readings and basic fabric maintenance tasks
• Coordinating contractor access and ensuring safe working practices
• Supporting health & safety checks, audits, and compliance requirements
• Providing cover and assistance across workplace services when required
• Delivering excellent customer service and resolving queries efficiently
