Description

The successful Facilities Assistant will:

  • Assist with the daily maintenance and upkeep of facilities to ensure a safe and functional environment.
  • Coordinate and oversee contractors to ensure work is completed to the required standard.
  • Liaise with Site Manager regarding evening events and holiday maintenance works
  • Conduct routine inspections of the premises and report issues promptly.
  • Be responsible for the general tidiness, cleanliness and safety of the all school areas.
  • Support health and safety compliance across the organisation, including fire safety checks.
  • Manage stock levels for maintenance supplies and reorder as necessary.
  • Respond to urgent maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of all facilities-related activities and documentation.
  • Work Monday-Friday 12:00-20:00 (19:30 finish one day a week).

Profile

A successful Facilities Assistant should have:

  • A background in building, real estate and property general maintenance.
  • The ability to work effectively and independently in a busy environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
