We play a vital role in protecting public health and consumer interests in food, driven by our vision of delivering “food you can trust” and building a healthier, more sustainable food system.
We’re now looking for a Facilities and Workplace Manager to lead the way in managing our national estate and delivering exceptional workplace services. This is an exciting time to join us, with a major relocation of our central London office underway—making this London-based role both high-profile and full of opportunity.
ResponsibilitiesAs our Facilities and Workplace Manager, you’ll oversee the lease management of our five offices across the UK and lead our strategic partnership with the Government Property Agency (GPA). You’ll be responsible for ensuring our buildings and workplaces are safe, efficient, and welcoming—supporting both day-to-day operations and long-term planning.
You’ll manage hard and soft facilities services, lead supplier and contract relationships, and deliver maintenance and minor works programmes. Acting as the key customer interface, you’ll work closely with internal teams such as Health, Safety and Wellbeing, and Culture and Development, as well as external partners like the GPA.
This role also plays a central part in delivering our Estates Programme, helping to reduce our accommodation footprint in line with lease events and landlord expectations. You’ll take the lead on building-related health and safety, business continuity, and sustainability—ensuring our workplaces reflect the FSA’s values and support our people.
We offer a rewarding role in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment, with the chance to make a real impact. You’ll be part of a supportive team culture, with access to a competitive salary and benefits package.
If you’re passionate about facilities management and ready to lead with purpose, we’d love to hear from you.
