Façade EngineerLocation: Manchester Salary: £45,000 £60,000 DOE + BenefitsJob Type: Permanent, Full-TimeWorking Pattern: HybridThe OpportunityWe are working with a leading global property and consultancy business who are looking to appoint an experienced Façade Engineer to join their growing technical team in Manchester.This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong façade professional to work across a diverse portfolio of high-profile commercial, residential and mixed-use developments, providing specialist façade engineering expertise across both new-build and existing buildings.You will be involved in projects from early design through to construction, inspection and technical assessment, working closely with clients, architects, contractors and other engineering disciplines.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver façade engineering assessments, investigations and technical reports across a range of building types.Provide technical input throughout the RIBA design stages, from concept through to construction.Assess existing façade systems, identifying defects, failures and potential remedial solutions.Review façade designs, specifications, calculations, drawings and technical submissions.Undertake site inspections, surveys and condition assessments.Provide technical advice relating to curtain walling, cladding, rainscreen systems, glazing and building envelope systems.Support façade remediation and refurbishment projects, including fire safety-related works where ..... full job details .....
