Facade Designer

We are working in partnership with a leading Main Contractor who specialise in the delivery of complex recladding and fa-ade remediation schemes across high-rise residential buildings. Due to a strong pipeline of secured projects, they are looking to appoint an experienced Facade Designer to join their growing technical team.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in delivering critical building safety upgrades, contributing to projects that have a real impact on residents and communities.

The Role

As a Facade Designer, you will be responsible for the design, coordination, and technical development of fa-ade systems across multiple recladding projects. You will work closely with internal delivery teams, consultants, and specialist subcontractors to ensure compliant, buildable, and cost-effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed fa-ade design packages for recladding schemes
• Coordinate with architects, fire engineers, and external consultants
• Ensure compliance with current building regulations, including fire safety standards
• Review subcontractor designs and technical submissions
• Provide design support to site and project delivery teams
• Attend design team meetings and contribute to value engineering exercises

Requirements

• Proven experience in fa-ade design, ideally within recladding or remediation projects
• Familiarity with UK Building Regulations and post-Grenfell compliance requirements
• Proficiency in relevant design software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.)
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders
