Facade Designer - RevitCardiff (Hybrid) 30,000- 40,000 DOE PermanentIntroductionAcorn by Synergie is recruiting for an experienced Fa ade Designer to join a growing external envelope specialist working across commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments throughout the UK. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a new and expanding team, contributing to complex fa ade packages from concept through to construction.Key DutiesProduce detailed fa ade design drawings and technical details.Develop construction, fabrication, and installation drawings.Design fa ade systems including rainscreen cladding, curtain walling, glazing systems, and SFS structures.Liaise with architects, contractors, consultants, and internal project teams.Ensure designs comply with UK building regulations, fire safety requirements, and project specifications.Coordinate with structural engineers regarding load paths, bracketry, and support systems.Support project delivery through design reviews and technical meetings.Assist in resolving technical design issues during installation.Ensure compliance with relevant standards including BS EN 13830 and EN (phone number removed).RequirementsExperience working as a Fa ade Designer, Cladding Designer, or Envelope Designer.Strong knowledge of fa ade systems including curtain walling, rainscreen cladding, glazing systems, and SFS framing.Experience using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software.Understanding of fa ade build-ups, thermal performance, and ..... full job details .....
