Job Summary
Proactive Personnel-are seeking experienced Heavy Steel Fabricator/Welder''s to our clients team. The ideal candidates will possess a strong background within Heavy duty Steel Fabrication and structural fabrication.-This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

• Heavy duty fabricating components-according to engineering drawings and specifications, ensuring accuracy in measurements and assembly.
• Working on bespoke turnkey plant solutions projects mainly or quarry sites across the UK.
• Welding and fabricating steel thickness ranging from 15mm up to 25mm.
• Using oxyacetylene to weld and cut thick steel beams.
• Utilising hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, and assembling steel metal components.
• Working on bespoke fabrication projects, starting from scratch and working till completion.
• Conducting MIG Welding processes when required to.
• Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and resolve any issues that may arise during fabrication.

Skills

• Experience with fabrication processes, including working on heavy duty fabrication & structural fabrication.
• Proven time-served fabrication experience is a must.
• Strong engineering knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
• Proven MIG welding experience.
• Experience working with fabrication tools, machinery such as Oxyacetylene.
• Must live locally to the area or within driving distance.
