FABRICATOR/WELDER

The role of Fabricator/Welder will be based in a friendly and busy Fabrication department and the objective of the role is to weld/fabricate a wide variety of fabrications to produce the final product. Duties will include:

- Responsible for welding lift car frames and other fabrications and working to a high degree of accuracy

- Follow verbal and written instruction for the management team

- Extensive liaison with other departments throughout the company for the complete cycle of a lift being built

- Ensure that PPE and company uniform is worn at all times, including Respiratory Protective equipment

- Responsible for ensuring correct storage and identification of parts, both within works areas and associated holding areas to achieve smooth feeding of materials and workflow

- Maintain a high standard for health and safety and housekeeping throughout the factory

- Responsible for completing all departmental paperwork in an accurate and precise manner

SKILLS:

- Mechanical fitter experience

- Welding experience

- Ability to use electrical and manual tools

- Enjoy working in a team

- Excellent timekeeping and attendance record

- Keen to commit long term to the role
