Responsibilities Complete fabrication process from cradle to grave. Fabrication of a variety of products, such as conveyor systems, pipework, structural steel fabrication such as staircases, walkways and gantries. Fabricate components and assemblies according to specifications and drawings. Utilise basic maths skills to measure and cut materials accurately. Perform welding tasks, including stick welding, to assemble parts securely. Work with sheet metal and other materials to produce finished products. Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively during the fabrication process. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
